Hello this is my page and for my project I will be attempting to make a bedside cabinet, I want to build this because I've always wanted to build something that I could use in my room and say to people that I made it, I also feel that it would be a good project to do because it will challenge me to see what I can do or build and achieve when I put my mind to something

the cube will be made out of MDF (medium density fiberboard), the width of it will be 315 mm and the hight will be 360 mm
WEEK:1 today in CDT I was thinking and planning out what I was going to do in the following weeks to come . I was just measureing and thinking about how it was going to look when I'd finished and how I was going to make this happen.
WEEK :2 this week in CDT I started cutting out the sides of the so the the Walls can nicely fit in so the it will look better and be Easyer to nail in. The skills I used were mostly acuraitecy to cut in a straight line and measuring so that I cut right in the middle. My plans for next week are to finish cutting off the sides of the base.
WEEK:3 this week I finished cutting off the sides off the base and the roof. The skills I used were accuratesay so I could cut in a straight line and not go off in a different direction. My plans for next time are to glue the Walls onto the base and maybe Evan the poof and possibly sand the execess wood on the sides off.
WEEK4: this week I never managed to get alot done as I was helping oran set up and show him how to cut the strip off the sides off the roof and base like I done in week 3, however I did mange to measure and draw the line where I will be cutting a strip out of the Walls so that the shelf will slip in nicely and will have more support to hold stuff up.
WEEK5: this week I used the router to cut a strip and the Walls for the shelve to fit in. The skill I used was accuracy because I had to draw the line in the correct place and make sure the I healed the router steady cause if I slipped the the wall would be rouend. My plans for next week are to glue it together.
WEEK6: this week I glued it all together using clamps to hold it in place. The skill I used was again accuracy because I had to make sure I put the glue in the correct place and that the clamps were tight and in the correct to make sure it glues nicely together. My plans for next week are to possibly nail in some nails to help support and hold it together and to also sand off the unneeded bits of wood on the edges and maybe Evan get round to starting to polish it.
